Currently, transhumanism has impacted the entire educational process, questioning pedagogical foundations and the classic humanist perspective. From a critical-hermeneutic approach, our main objective will be twofold: to offer a broad pedagogical enquiry and philosophical categories to analyse the transhumanism approach, and to understand and criticize two arguments. The first argument is how transhumanism is driving human purposes in the wrong direction and how it is failing on the intentionality of education; and the second is a reflection on the type of relationship with technologies that transhumanism proposes. The study will have¬ four stages to contextualise the need to articulate a pedagogy of the life of mind and recognise education as an authentic ethical experience that leads us to transfiguration.
