How to publish in academic and research collections
Proposals for research collections should be sent by email to Edicions de la Universitat de Barcelona (infopublicacions@ub.edu) and, where applicable, to the collection director listed in the editorial policy section. Manuscripts must be unpublished, reflect new developments in the field of specialised study, and comply with the University of Barcelona’s The University of Barcelona’s code of conduct for research integrity. Written in clear and concise language, papers must comply with the rules for the presentation of manuscripts and style guidelines, and be accompanied by a brief description of the work, the author(s)’ resumé, and the completed questionnaire. Once all the required documentation is received, the suitability, originality and relevance of the proposal will be assessed and, if accepted, an external evaluation process will begin.
How to publish in educational collections
Proposals for educational text collections should be sent by email to Edicions de la Universitat de Barcelona (infopublicacions@ub.edu) along with a duly completed questionnaire and letter of recommendation from the relevant centre or department. Manuscripts must comply with the rules for the presentation of manuscripts and style guidelines, and must include the working methodology and teaching objectives in accordance with their educational purpose. They may have a more theoretical focus (a manual, descriptive or thematic text, etc.), or be more practical (an exercise book, practical manual, etc.), but must meet the teaching needs and educational objectives of the subject in question. Before submitting a proposal, the author(s) should contact Edicions UB to outline the characteristics of the work and obtain the appropriate advice.
