Abstract
This article approaches the elements that are integrated into cooperation according to the competence framework in the educational context. This delimitation of cooperation is essential for the design and development of teaching and learning activities and for assessment. That is because of the need to “align” both decisions and make them coherent. First, we delve into the concept of competence in the current Spanish curricular framework. We identify the elements that characterise cooperation in the classroom according to its transversal nature, the need to link them to competences and the need to ensure their teaching. Finally, we focus on assessment and how to provide tools to ensure coherence between teaching and learning activities and assessment practices.
