This article investigates the imaginaries for projecting the future of education promoted by Google in the process of the digital transformation of education, as part of a broad project, materialized by the actions of different subjects who direct education to meet the demands of capitalism in its digital era. Particularly, we seek to analyze proposals for transforming teaching work, in a context in which technologies give new meaning to the role of the teacher in relation to teaching, learning and knowledge. Based on an analysis of a document published by Google in 2022, it appears that, in projecting the imaginary of the future of education, private businesses voice ideological discourses to promote imaginaries that link technology, education and the future of digital goods, centered on the possibility of future profits.
