La revista es publica amb periodicitat semestral.
Els originals són avaluats per dos experts externs a l’equip editorial experts en l’àrea de coneixement de la pedagogia, amb un sistema de revisió per parells i doble cec per tal d’assegurar l’anonimat d’autors i avaluadors. En el cas que es produeixi una disparitat de criteris en els dos informants, es demanarà una tercera avaluació a una persona externa a l’equip editorial. Un cop feta l’avaluació, l’autor rebrà la resposta de la direcció de la revista, tant si l’article ha estat rebutjat com si ha estat acceptat, i indicant-ne, si és el cas, els canvis necessaris i els suggeriments de millora que indiquen els informes, així com altres criteris editorials de la revista que calgui adaptar. El període de tramitació de l'avaluació no superarà els tres mesos. Si escau, l’autor podrà tornar a presentar l’original, que serà novament avaluat. Les seccions de Monografia, d’Estudis i Recerques i de Reflexions i Assaigs requereixen avaluació externa.
La revista va destinada al públic interessat en la teoria i la praxi de la pedagogia, les ciències de l’educació i la formació en tots els àmbits i nivell, des d'un punt de vista reflexiu i científic.
Els articles poden estar escrits en català, castellà, anglès, francès, portuguès i italià.
Els autors que publiquen en aquesta revista estan d’acord amb els termes següents:
1. Els autors conserven els drets d’autoria i atorguen a la revista el dret de primera publicació, amb l’obra disponible simultàniament sota una Llicència d’atribució de Creative Commons de Reconeixement-NoComercial, que permet compartir l’obra amb tercers, sempre que aquests en reconeguin l’autoria i la publicació inicial en aquesta revista.

Focus and Scope of Temps d’Educació
Temps d'Educació is a scientific and academic journal that publishes works related to Pedagogy, Educational Sciences, and training in all fields and levels. Therefore, it will proportionally include - not necessarily in each issue, but overall - the different contents, scientific areas, and research lines of the aforementioned disciplines globally considered. As a university publication, it especially ensures the scientific rigor and intellectual level of the content.
The institutional nature of this publication, we believe, obliges it, if not to neutrality, then to pluralism. However, we understand that the journal must decisively opt for a renewing and critical pedagogical line. This, on the other hand, is not contradictory to the rigorous and scientific will it must have. Likewise, the editorial team does not always have to share the interpretations and orientations of the content of the works published. It will ensure they have sufficient intellectual quality, but without interfering in the interpretations or evaluations that each author introduces in their works.
Temps d’Educació proposes as fundamental objectives:
- To facilitate and stimulate communication, interdisciplinarity, and scientific discussion among the different lines of work and disciplinary areas of Educational Sciences.
- To be a scientific organ open to the community of those who cultivate, from research, thought, or practice, the Educational Sciences.
Open Access Policy
The journal Temps d’Educació provides immediate and free access to the full text of articles, following the principles of the open access movement, according to which anyone can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose. It is subject to the license NoComercial 4.0 Internacional de Creative Commons (CC BY-NC). Thus, an appropriate authorship credit must be provided. You may not use the original work or its derivative works for commercial purposes.
The journal Temps d’Educació does not apply any fee either for manuscript submission or article publication, encouraging scientific dissemination.

Self-archiving policy
The journal Temps d’Educació allows the deposit and dissemination of the published version of the contributions in any institutional, subject and/or multidisciplinary repository. The repository must contain the information about the publication in the journal and the corresponding link. However, the journal does not allow the deposit or dissemination of article preprints.
Review process
The originals are evaluated by two external experts to the editorial team who are experts in the field of pedagogy, using a double-blind peer review system to ensure the anonymity of authors and reviewers. In the event of a disparity in criteria between the two reviewers, a third evaluation will be requested from a person external to the editorial team. Once the evaluation is completed, the author will receive a response from the journal's management, whether the article has been rejected or accepted, and indicating, if applicable, the necessary changes and improvement suggestions from the reports, as well as other editorial criteria of the journal that need to be adapted. The evaluation processing period will not exceed three months. If necessary, the author may resubmit the original, which will be re-evaluated. The Monograph, Studies and Research, and Reflections and Essays sections require external evaluation.
Section Policy
The content of the journal consists of unpublished articles in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian, or Portuguese, which are distributed in different sections that may vary depending on the issue and theme:
- Monograph. A study topic is addressed from various perspectives with an interdisciplinary vocation.
- Dossier. Consists of a monographic topic treated by a minimum of three specialists on a specific issue.
- Studies and Research. Includes empirical works, of a more objective nature, that use qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Pedagogical Testimonies. Formed by life stories of relevant people who systematize some aspect of education and/or pedagogy.
- Reflections and Essays. Articles of an interpretative, hermeneutic, anthropological, and historical nature, among others.
- Reading Notes. Includes reviews and in-depth comments on important works recently published.
