Abstract
In this paper, the authors compare the academic performance of two groups of students in two different years (2012-2013 and 2013-2014) of the Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education at the UAB. One version is the GEP-DUA, in which the language of instruction is largely English, while the other is GEP-cat, in which the language of instruction is almost exclusively Catalan. The aim is to identify whether there are any differences in the students’ subject assessment results as a function of their pursuing the degree in Catalan or in English. The results point to no statistically significant differences in academic performance between GEP-DUA and GEP-cat in subjects taken in Catalan and in English.
