This paper aims to establish a connection between pedagogical reflection and contemporary epistemological reflection concerning the epistemology of virtues. The concepts utilized for this purpose are epistemic happiness – a newly coined concept – and human flourishing – a concept with a longstanding tradition in the philosophy of education. The goal is to explore a new perspective in epistemology and pedagogy that positions truth as a common objective in both the educational process and knowledge acquisition. Thus, it presents a perspective that integrates knowledge into other activities inherent to human life while asserting the possibility of viewing cognitive phenomena in close relation to the educational process.
