Abstract
The aim of this work is the study of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, based on the description of the disease and a qualitative observational study of family G. The last goal set has been conducting a market study for meeting treatment through searches on specified pages. The Charcot-Marie-Tooth is an inherited type of peripheral neuropathy that affects 28 out of 100,000 people in the greater involvement with men. This disease is divided into groups, the CMT 1, where stands the CMT 1A, the CMT 2, the CMT 3 or Dejerine Sottas, the CMT 4 and CMT X. The differences between groups are genetic type, but generally all have similar symptoms. Then a study based on family G. through interviews and photographs can be extracted symptom differences in time, depending on age, depending on where you live, etc. Finally performing a screening of possible treatments, including surgical, pharmacological and other alternatives and concludes that there is currently no measure to end the disease, but yes any of palliatives.
