Abstract
The capacity to learn and exercise responsibility is one of the generic competences to be acquired by the student of a pharmacy degree. The Teaching Innovation Group of Pharmaceutical Technology (GIDTF) has set itself the task of gradually developing this competence in the context of the laboratory practicals on Galenic Pharmacy courses which are distributed all through pharmacy studies. The activities were directed at the ability to acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes related to the manufacture and control of pharmaceutical products according to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This article presents the first results obtained in the initial phase of the project after the implementation of the methodology in the compulsory subject Introduction to Galenic Pharmacy, the most basic of Galenic Pharmacy subject matter. We show that co-evaluation can reliably assess this competence and that almost all students reached their first stage of development in the area of GMP.
