El proceso de Convergencia hacia un Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (Bolonia, 19 de junio de 1999) hace necesaria una nueva planificación de la docencia a nivel de los Centros Universitarios. Una de las herramientas para conseguir una mejora de la Calidad de la Docencia es la Guía Docente, un dossier para orientar el aprendizaje autónomo del alumno a través del material entregado por el profesor. En este marco se ha elaborado la Guía Docente de la Asignatura Toxicología, según el Sistema Europeo de Transferencia y Acumulación de Créditos (ECTS). Se hace una descripción de la materia, destacando la importancia de ciertos conocimientos previos y su incidencia en el ejercicio profesional del farmacéutico. Se marcan unos objetivos, competencias y contenidos, útiles para evaluar el riesgo potencial de agentes químicos. Se indica la metodología seguida, el sistema de evaluación y la atribución de créditos ECTs. Finalmente se exponen y discuten los resultados obtenidos y se establecen unas conclusiones.

The Process of Convergence towards a European Higher Education Area (Bologna, June 19, 1999) calls for a new planning teaching at the University Centers. One of the tools to achieve an improvement in the Teaching Quality is the Teaching Guide, a dossier to guide the independent learning of the student through the material delivered by the teacher. Within this framework has been developed the Teaching Guide for the Toxicology Course, according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). We describe the subject emphasizing the importance of previous knowledge and its influence on the pharmaceutical profession. A objectives, competencies and contents are marked to show the potential risk of chemical agents. We indicate the methodology followed, the system of evaluation and the attribution of ECTs credits. Finally, the obtained results were exposed and discussed, and a conclusions were established.
