Las asignaturas de libre configuración han permitido la experimentación de nuevas propuestas didácticas en la Licenciatura de Farmacia. Este ha sido el caso de las asignaturas de “Metodología Científica” e “Historia y Filosofía de la Mecánica Cuántica”. En ellas se enseña la reflexión filosófica sobre los fundamentos, técnicas y fines de la ciencia. Para ello se propone en sus programas el estudio de la evolución de las ideas científicas a través de la historia, el método científico (estudiando conceptos como hipótesis, modelo, ley, teoría, …), la ética y bioética científica, y el estudio de la moderna teoría cuántica y sus implicaciones filosóficas. Además en estas asignaturas se buscan los pensamientos que los grandes científicos han dado a las preguntas esenciales que el ser humano se hace para vivir una vida más plena y feliz. Los programas teóricos se completan con unas prácticas donde a alumnos de primer y segundo ciclo se les enseña a realizar metódicamente un trabajo científico (elección de tema, documentación, investigación empírica, redacción, presentación, publicación…), realizando el alumno un trabajo bibliográfico sobre estas cuestiones filosóficas.

The subjects of which are freely configured have allowed for the experimentation of new educational proposals within the Farmacy Degree. This has been the case for the subjects “Scientific Methodology” and “History and Philosophy of Quantum Mechanics”. In these subjects, philosophical reflections on principles, techniques and objectives of science are thought. For that, the study of the evolution of scientific method (studying concepts such as hypothesis, model, law, theory…) the ethics and scientific bioethics, the study of modern quantum theory and its philosophical implications are achieved. Furthermore, in these subjects are searched the thoughts that great scientists have given to being makes to live a fuller and happier life. The theory programs are completed with practicals where students from the first and second courses are taught to methodically carry out a scientific task (to choose a topic, documentation, empirical investigation and bibliography, word process, presentation, publication…) the student carrying out a bibliographic task on these philosophical issues.
