La asignatura Tópicos en Investigación fue planeada por la Coordinación de la Licenciatura en Farmacia con el objetivo de propiciar a los estudiantes conocimientos sobre este asunto, así como crear el interés para esa actividad profesional. Objetivo: Intentamos evaluar la percepción de los estudiantes respecto a la asignatura “Tópicos en Investigación”. Método: Los alumnos matriculados en la asignatura (n=20) fueron invitados a responder un cuestionario, incluyendo 10 cuestiones, abiertas y cerradas, sobre la importancia de la asignatura para su formación; las expectativas alcanzadas, la metodología utilizada, los puntos positivos y negativos observados, los contenidos más importantes y los que merecerían más atención y una discusión más amplia, además de sugerencias para mejorar la asignatura. Resultado: Solamente 13 estudiantes respondieron al cuestionario. Nueve alumnos (n=9; 69,23%) declararon estar plenamente satisfechos, mientras cuatro (n=4; 30,76%) declararon estar parcialmente satisfechos. Ocho estudiantes (n=8; 61,53%) consideraron la metodología utilizada satisfactoria y cinco (n=5; 38,46%) la consideraron parcialmente satisfactoria. Los conceptos atribuidos para los conocimientos adquiridos fueron: excelente (n=1; 7,69%); bueno (10; 76,92%) y regular (n=2; 15,38%). Preguntados sobre la importancia de la asignatura frente a las perspectivas profesionales, ocho estudiantes (n=8; 61,53) la consideraron como importante, mientras cinco (n=5; 38,46%) la consideraron como muy importante.

The discipline “Topics in Research” was planned by the Coordination of Pharmacy Course with the objective of propitiating to the students knowledge in this matter, as well as to arouse interest to this professional activity. Objective: We intended to evaluate the perception of the students about the discipline “Topics in Research”. Method: The students enrolled in the discipline (n=20) were invited to answer a questionnaire including 10 questions, open and multiple choice questions about the importance of the discipline to their educational formation; the expectations achieved, the teaching methodology, the positive and negative points, the subjects considered more significant and the subjects that deserve attention and profound study, and also suggestions to improve the discipline. Results: Only 13 students answered the questionnaire. Nine students (n=9; 69, 23%) declared that the discipline fulfilled the expectations, four (n=4; 30,76%) declared that their expectations were partially fulfilled. Eight students (n=8; 61, 53%) considered the teaching methodology satisfactory and five (n=5; 38,46%) considered partially satisfactory. The conceits attributed for the acquired knowledge were: excellent (n=1; 7,69%); good (10; 76,92%) and regular (n=2; 15,38%). Asked on the importance of the discipline front to the professional perspectives, eight students (n=8; 61,53) considered as important while five (n=5; 38,46%) considered as very important.
