En el curso 2004-2005 se inició una experiencia en la Facultad de Farmacia consistente en la impartición periódica de seminarios de investigación destinados a divulgar la investigación realizada en los diversos departamentos, dirigidos al personal docente e investigador así como a estudiantes. En el curso 2005- 2006, en el que la actividad se concentró en periodos lectivos, se inscribieron 34 alumnos, y la asistencia media fue de 20. Para conocer el grado de satisfacción del alumnado con la actividad se elaboró una encuesta de opinión anónima. Según ésta, la motivación básica de los alumnos para asistir a las conferencias era mejorar su formación o el interés en la investigación. Los aspectos organizativos fueron en general bien valorados; en cambio, el grado de dificultad de las sesiones resultó excesivo para un 66% de los alumnos, aunque la utilización de medios audiovisuales favoreció la comprensión. Los alumnos reconocieron no participar activamente en las sesiones, pero la participación puede incentivarse si se traslada la actividad a aulas más pequeñas, que faciliten el diálogo. A pesar de las dificultades encontradas, un 93% de los encuestados se declararon satisfechos o muy satisfechos con la actividad.

A new experience was launched in the Faculty of Pharmacy in the academic year 2004-2005: The beginning of a set of weekly research seminars, with the objective of disseminating the scientific research developed in the departments of the Faculty: These conferences were addressed both to lecturers and undergraduate and postgraduate students. The following academic year 2005-06, the activity has been reduced only to active terms, 34 students registered for the activity, with an average attendance of 20. In order to evaluate the degree of satisfaction of the students, an enquiry was set up at the end of the year. According to the results of this survey, the main motivation for the students to attend the seminars was the wish to improving their skills or interest for research. The organisational aspects have been evaluated. However, 66% of the students considered excessively high the level of difficulty of the sessions, although the use of audiovisual support material improved their understanding. The students admitted to have a non participative attitude, which could be improved by moving the conferences to a smaller lecture theatre. Despite the difficulties, 93% of the students declared to be satisfied or very satisfied with the activity.
