A partir de la idea que aquesta forma de dominació és un acte de violència contra les dones, Teresa Vinyoles-Vidal fa una breu incursió en la història dels sentiments, amb exemples de joves catalanes que van voler escapar del destí imposat i decidir lliurement el seu futur.
Historically, the destiny of women has been decided by their families; women have traditionally been subjected to the interests of the family group. Starting from the idea that this form of domination is an act of violence against women, Teresa Vinyoles-Vidal makes a brief incursion into the history of sentiments, with examples of young Catalan women who wished to escape the destiny imposed on them and to decide freely on their future.
