Revista de Historia Industrial – Industrial History Review núm. 97

Ramon Ramon-Muñoz and Juliana Jaramillo-Echeverri (eds.)

Founded in 1992, Revista de Historia Industrial – Industrial History Review (RHI-IHR) is a pioneering journal indexed in the most prestigious international databases. It promotes historical research into the processes of industrialization and the social, economic, institutional, environmental, and demographic transformations associated with them. With a global scope and an inclination toward methodological diversity, RHI-IHR publishes original papers in English and Spanish in three regular issues each year. This issue offers regional and sectoral analyses spanning from the sixteenth to the twentieth century, addressing key themes such as technological diffusion in coal mining and iron smelting; price dynamics and profitability in the wool industry; domestic energy consumption through the case of butane; metropolitan investment in colonial enterprises; and the role of merchant capital in shaping industrial trajectories, alongside four book reviews.
