Founded in 1992, Revista de Historia Industrial – Industrial History Review (RHI-IHR) is a pioneering journal indexed in the most prestigious international databases. It promotes historical research into the processes of industrialization and the social, economic, institutional, environmental and demographic transformations associated with them. With a global scope and an inclination toward methodological diversity, RHI-IHR publishes original papers in English and Spanish in three regular issues each year. The current issue includes articles on Spanish policy and the monetary system in the 19th century, family budgets in cities during the interwar period, military spending between 1891 and 1935, debates on economic planning in the 1930s, and reinsurance within Franco’s autarky, as well as several book reviews.
